    Community Center The Community Center is a 5,600 square foot building that will accommodate up to 275 people. It may be rented for family reunions, wedding receptions, church functions, concerts, etc. Rent is $250.00 which includes a “non refundable” $50.00 prepaid deposit with the remaining balance of $200.00 to be paid prior to the date of the event.     American Legion The American Legion special event facility will hold up to 300 people with ample parking.  There are 43 six foot rectangles tables and 275 chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a sink,  refrigerator, microwave and an oven. The poll barn is also available for rent. It has picnic tables, men and women bathrooms and a kitchen with a refrigerator, sink and an ice box. There is plenty of parking.

      The Green River is Kentucky’s crown jewel of river systems and a national treasure of biodiversity. At 384 miles, it is one of Kentucky’s largest, longest, and most navigable rivers. Green River is one of the best small mouth & rock bass fishing destinations in KY.  Fishing below the dam during winter & early spring also affords excellent walleye, sauger and muskie fishing as well. It harbors one of the most diverse assemblages of fish and freshwater mussels in the United States. More than 150 fish and 70 mussels have been found in the river. Along your journey discover the many miles of dramatic bluffs and natural river environment. Enjoy the view of turkey, deer, beaver, birds and reptiles as you make your journey downstream. You’ll find two access points to the Green River in Taylor County. The first access point is at the Tailwater below the dam which is at the very beginning of the Green River Paddle Trail.  The second access point is the Roachville access at mile marker 12.5 on the Green River which is a full day on the beautiful Green River. Near the end of the paddle, you’ll see a waterfall on the right and the Roachville ramp will follow shortly on the right. As you flow down the river, you’re very likely to see turtles, ducks, deer and blue herons. You’ll notice on the right in the trees are green and white mile markers signs so you’ll know just where you’re at on the river. The best water levels to paddle the upper Green for casual floating are from 150 to 500 cfs (cubic feet per second) of flow from the Green River Lake Dam. One is of 1.5 acre trophy size catch and release catfish that weigh up to 60 pounds, while the other is a 3 area lake stocked four times a week with farm raised fish that weigh 2 to 3 pound.  Our lakes are in a country setting for a restful, fun, family experience. The US Army Corps of Engineers maintains hiking trails off Lake Road located between Soul Chapel Road and Site 1 Boat Ramp in the Green River Dam area. The Salsman trail is 1.1 miles in length and offers a beautiful view of Green River Lake and the floating cabins at Green River Marina. The wooded path is well marked with trail markers.   • Veterans Memorial Park

    Veterans Memorial Park Veterans Memorial park has two batting tunnels located on the left field side out of play, a storage building is behind the 1st base dugout and a pressbox with media center and storage is behind home plate. In the fall and winter of 2015, new dugouts were constructed and a brick back-stop was added along with new padding. Students park their vehicles along the outfield fence to watch the games and provide a loud atmosphere for the opposing teams. Capacity 500
