Tebbs Bend-Green River Bridge Battlefield Campbellsville KY

Night Ride

Fought on July 4, 1863, near the Green River in Taylor County, Kentucky, the Battle of Tebbs Bend is well known to locals, or is it?

Just how did a small Union force, despite being outnumbered, successfully defend a vital supply line from the much greater Confederate force?

Join members of the Tebbs Bend Battlefield Association on hayrides that will transport groups through this historical battle, on Tebbs Bend Road.

Hear stories that have been passed down through generations.

Learn how such a large force could be defeated by so few.

See where the soldiers who lost their lives were left until being moved to place of honor at the cemetery.
