Green River Lake State Park spans 1,331 acres along the 8,210-acre Green River Lake shoreline, offering numerous attractions for nature enthusiasts. Activities include an 18-hole miniature golf course, hiking trails, a sandy beach, picnic areas, and playgrounds. The state dock, Green River Marina, provides boat rentals, a supply store, and a snack bar. Fishing enthusiasts can find bass, bluegill, catfish, crappie, walleye, and muskie in the lake.
The lakeside campground offers 229 sites, including 157 improved campsites with standard electric hookups and 72 tent sites surrounded by pristine nature. Campground amenities include a grocery store, dump station, and three central service buildings with showers, restrooms, and laundry facilities. Additionally, the park features two boat ramps, free of charge.
Enjoy the sandy beach, perfect for sunbathing and swimming. Families can partake in an 18-hole miniature golf course suitable for all ages. Volleyball enthusiasts often organize games on the sand court. Nature lovers can explore the park's 28 miles of multi-use trails, ideal for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Please note that some trails have restrictions on bikes and horses.
Don't miss the Green River Gift Shop, offering Kentucky handcrafts and souvenirs, near the camping area. Birdwatchers can explore a secluded birdwatching area near the park entrance.

Throughout the year, Green River Lake State Park hosts annual events, including Camper Appreciation Weekend, Armed Forces Day with a military discount, Kids Outdoor Day with various sports and activities, and Halloween in the Park featuring spooky-themed fun.
