Green River Paddle Trail

Green River Paddle Trail offers kayak and canoe rentals with included life jackets and paddles for self-guided trips on the biodiverse Green River. Options include half-day, full-day, or overnight trips, all by appointment.  Call 270-789-2956 to schedule your outdoor adventure.

Prices:


  • Kayaks: $35.00 per person (half-day), $45.00 (full day)
  • Canoes: $60.00 (half-day), $75.00 (full day)
  • Group and family rates available, prices include tax and equipment.


Access points in Taylor County:

  1. Tailwater below the dam (Start of the Green River Paddle Trail)
  2. Roachville access at mile marker 12.5 (Full-day trip)


Enjoy the scenic journey with wildlife sightings, mile markers, and beautiful natural surroundings. Optimal water levels for casual floating are 150 to 500 CFS, but avoid levels above 1,000 CFS for safety. Check the Corps of Engineers at (270) 465-4463 or the Louisville District website for up-to-date flow information.
