Satterly Picnic Shelter
The Satterly Picnic Shelter sits right along the shoreline of Green River Lake at the Site 1 boat ramp. It is available to rent for special events for a small fee. To reserve a picnic shelter you must call the reservation line at 1-877-444-6777 or go to www.recreation.gov. If a shelter has not been reserved for a particular day, it may be used free of charge, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Nearby Shelters
The Corps of Engineers also operates a few more shelters around the lake.
- Big Oak Shelter is off Lake Road near the Site 1 Boat Ramp.
- Green River Lake Visitor Center Shelter is right behind the Visitor Center with a great view of Green River Dam.
- Green River Tailwater Shelter is right off HWY 55 near the spillway.
- Holmes Bends Shelter is on the south end of the lake by Holmes Bend Marina.
